Cristina Galvez, artist, entrepreneur and slab whisperer has always been moved by nature to create. After a successful 20 year career in graphic design, her desire to do something with soul and passion lead her right back to nature.

“I went to a furniture gallery and felt frustrated with the lack of imagination and quality. So I purchased my first live edge slab and set out to make my own dinning table, channeling my “meraki” - what modern Greeks describe as putting something of yourself into it.” For Cristina, art is an extension of the soul, and nature brings out our deepest expression of self.  Cristina is the owner and founder of Galvez Collection, where she can share her love of trees - and be a part of their story through every creation.
